TVS Sells 3 Lakh Radeons in 2 Years; Releases ‘Dhaakad’ Campaign

TVS Radeon sales have surpassed the 3 lakh unit mark; the last 2 lakh units have come within 15 odd months…

TVS surprised everyone by launching a commuter motorcycle that looked very similar to the Hero Splendor back in August 2018. While the Victor, Sport and City Plus were sportier looking 100ccs, the Radeon wore completely different looks which were very utilitarian.

The target audience was set and there began an interesting journey for a slightly weird named motorcycle to make a mark in this already congested market. Mark, it has made as TVS informs that Radeon has crossed the 3 Lakh unit sales mark. This comes within two years which means an average monthly sales rate of around 13,000 units.

If these numbers do not ring a bell then let us tell you that it has become the company’s largest seller in the 100cc space outselling the sibling trio, sometimes combined!

This feat comes after it achieved sales of 1 Lakh units around April 2019 which means that the last 2 lakh unit sales have come in, in around 15 odd months.

TVS launched its BS6 model in the country earlier this year and despite few price increments, it, still, is priced lesser than the Splendor. To commemorate this milestone, the company has launched a new ‘Dhaakad‘ campaign which you can watch below..
