Second Largest TVS Exports 1 Million 2-Wheelers For The First Time

TVS Motor exports have crossed 10 lakh units in this financial year. Their continued focus on international business is yielding results..

TVS Motor have announced that they have achieved the milestone of exporting 1 Million (10 Lakh) Two-wheelers in FY22. This is the first time in the company’s history that they are able to achieve such impressive export numbers within a particular Financial Year.

Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Sudarshan Venu (Joint Managing Director, TVS Motor Company) said –

“The one million export mark is a significant milestone for TVS Motor Company.  This further underscores our path towards being a global player in personal mobility solutions. TVS Motor has always been committed to quality, technology, and customer delight and this must be further enhanced in the future. We are excited to continue building on this positive momentum as we expand into newer geographies with attractive products and new first in segment, technology offerings.”

The magical number of 1 Million exports within FY21 is contributed jointly by the exports of TVS Motor Company and PT TVS, Indonesia.

The Chennai based Company has presence across 80 countries in Africa, Southeast Asia, Indian Sub-Continent, Central & Latin America and is seeking to enter more markets in Europe and North America. The key exports include TVS Apache series, TVS HLX series, TVS Raider and TVS Neo series. 

Sharing his thoughts on this achievement, Mr. KN. Radhakrishnan (Director and CEO, TVS Motor Company) said –

TVS are the second largest 2-wheeler exporters in India after Bajaj. They have gained a lot of volumes in the last few years based on their increased focus in becoming a global player and reducing complete dependency on the domestic market. They are also now creating products that cater to a wider audience set.
