TVS Creon launch (or unveiling) could be expected within the coming few months based on the company’s earlier statements…
It is raining electric vehicles and this trend will only gain momentum in the times to come as our government pushes for wide-scale electrification. After Ather, Revolt and few other start-ups 2-wheeler electric vehicle segment got a shot in the arm with the recent introduction of Chetak – the first electric 2-wheeler from a major manufacturer.
If we flip back a few years, arch rival TVS Motor showcased a very futuristic 2-wheeler electric vehicle concept called as Creon. There have been various reports which suggest that the maker is working on a similar project and today we probably have the first on-road spotting of the upcoming scooter.
A spy video of an unknown electric two wheeler has come up on the internet. It features two camouflaged scooters which were reportedly spotted in Hosur, close to TVS’ factory. Though there is no conclusive evidence that these are the production versions of Creon but these test mules carry a similar camouflage pattern as many other TVS mules (and the proximity with TVS’ facility add to the belief).
Now obviously the Creon was a very futuristic concept and the production version will definitely be toned down significantly. These test scooters carry a bulky front, alloy wheels, front disc brake and a Jupiter-like rear. They may also be carrying some dummy parts at this point.
