Triumph Trident India launch date is in the first week of April and it will be the most exciting model from the company yet!
Triumph is upping its ante in India (and around the world). Apart from its partnership with Bajaj, which will spawn shockingly low priced motorcycle(s), it is expanding its current portfolio with very interesting models.
One among them is this new 660 platform that it has developed recently. The first product based on this platform – Trident, is ready for our market. The Brit opened bookings in November 2020 and started teasing it on its social channels recently. In a latest, it has shot in a media invite revealing about the official launch date of the mid-sized roadster.

Triumph Trident will be launched in India on Tuesday 6th April 2021 online. It will be unboxed at company’s dealerships on 10th April.

It must be known that Trident will be company’s most affordable motorcycle in India till the jointly made models from Bajaj come out (expected sometime in 2023). This roadster, which will be imported in India as a CKD, is powered by a 660cc, triple cylinder engine that churns an impressive power output of 81 PS at 10,250 rpm and a max torque of 64 Nm at 6250 rpm.

According to a leak from the company’s official website, Trident will be priced at Rs 6.95 Lakh ex-showroom which will make it cheaper than the Street Twin by Rs 50,000. However, a final confirmation on this will come on the launch day only. Trident will be one such offering on this platform and the company has already revealed plans of two Adventure models that will come later.
