Last November, Triumph officially inaugurated its operations in India and outlined its game plan for the sub continent. The company was to establish dealerships in Bangalore and Hyderabad last December followed by Delhi and Mumbai January 2014. Something seems to have held them back a month, however, they finally have kickstarted in the city of Bangalore.

The showroom is based upon global signature layout of Triumph Motorcycles with consultation lounge, sales and after sales desks all being close to the display area. The dealership also has Triumph merchandise on sale including riding gear, accessories and memorabilia. Keerthi Motors also boast of ‘Build your own Bike’ concept in the premium and luxury motorcycle segment.

Presently, Triumph has bikes in 5 different categories – Classics, Roadsters, Adventure, Cruisers and Supersports. There are a total of 10 models in these categories; cheapest being the Classic Bonneville for INR 5.75 lacs. The heftiest price tag of INR 20 lacs is attached to the cruiser Rocket III Roadster.

The press note also states that for a better pre and post-sales ownership experience, a team of service engineers have been trained at Triumph’s training centers in Hinckley in the UK. Triumph, as of now, has more than 740 dealers across the world and has manufacturing facilities in Hinckley, Leicestershire and Thailand plus assembly facilities in Brazil and India.
