Norton will showcase an all-new 450cc single-cylinder roadster bike at the motorcycle show starting from November 3 in Milan, Italy
Norton Motorcycles, the TVS-owned British two-wheeler brand, will unveil an all-new 450cc single-cylinder bike at the EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy. It will be launched in India as well as in global markets simultaneously around the second half of 2027. Likely to be based on a new H-series platform, the new Norton 450cc motorcycle will be a roadster while sitting below the Atlas range in the company’s portfolio. It will directly rival Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, Triumph Speed 400 and Harley Davidson X440 in the Indian market.
Norton has not officially confirmed the name of the upcoming 450cc roadster yet. Nor the engine capacity, power output and launch timeline has been disclosed by the brand as of now. However, it is believed that the 450cc single-cylinder will develop max power and peak torque in the ballpark of 40-45 bhp and 40-45 Nm, respectively, while coupled with a 6-speed transmission.
Though information is scarce at the moment regarding the upcoming Norton 450cc roadster, it is likely to ride on 17-inch wheels while sharing cycle parts with bigger company bikes. It could borrow the 8-inch touchscreen instrument cluster with TFT display, ride modes and other electronics from the Atlas. Norton is understood to focus on ease of use during city rides.

Norton had trademarked three monikers earlier this year in India in the form of Roven, Inter and Avalon. Last year, it had also filed a trademark for ‘Electra’ nameplate while in 2023, Norton had trademarked ‘Combat’ moniker. Hence, it is quite possible that the company could use any one name among these five for the upcoming 450cc roadster motorcycle.
Norton 450cc roadster will be locally developed at Hosur manufacturing facility of TVS Motor Company in Tamil Nadu, India. The production of the Atlas ADV motorcycle also commenced at this factory in June 2026. In addition, the BMW F 450 GS is also being built at the Hosur plant. All these motorcycles will be exported to global markets from our country.

Norton is expected to start sales operations in India from the Q4 FY27 (Jan-Mar 2027) with the launch of the Atlas adventure bike. “Norton is set to launch in India soon following the brand’s presence at EICMA this year, when the next key stage of the resurgence will be revealed,” said the Norton spokesperson to our friends at Autocar Professional. Just so you know, the EICMA 2026 will be held between November 3-8 in Italy.
