New Suzuki Access Matte Red pics in the special edition have surfaced. Launch expected in the coming few days…
Suzuki has been having a fantastic time with its Access. Apart from being the largest selling 125cc scooter, it is just behind a few in overall sales, which is a big achievement considering that Suzuki’s reach is nowhere close to Hero, Honda or TVS!
In terms of numbers, last financial year, the scoot registered a growth of whopping 32 percent which, in figures, corresponds to an addition of 1.30 Lakh units in the complete year. Even today when the industry is facing a big recession, Access has helped Suzuki post positive numbers.
To further keep the model refreshed, Suzuki is planning to launch the Access Special Edition in new Matte Red colour. Pictures of the upcoming variant have been shared by one of our source. The scooter features a beige coloured footboard, inner body and seat along with the ‘Special Edition’ sticker on the sides.
Currently, Suzuki sells the Special Edition of Access in Metallic Matte Black, Metallic Sonic Silver and Pearl Mirage White colours. This new Matte Red colour will become the most vibrant colour in the palette. It is not known if it will be in addition to these existing colours or if Suzuki will remove some of the existing shades.
The new Access is expected to continue with the same 124 cc, 8.7 PS, 10.2 Nm engine. As compared to the regular variant of Access (priced at Rs 60,188), the special edition costs Rs 1600 more (price Rs 61,788) on the ex-showroom Delhi price. It is offered only in the top Disc brake + alloy wheel trim.
Considering that these pictures are taken at some dealership, dispatch from the company has started and soon will have an official word on this from Suzuki soon.
