Hero MotoCorp has just launched a new variant of India’s largest selling motorcycle – Splendor in the country. The company calls it ‘Black and Accent’ edition and with this, it has also introduced the first-of-its-kind customization options in the segment.
The Splendor Black and Accent is available in an all-black avatar with black alloy wheels, engine, and chain cover. Apart from that, customers can also opt for a 3D Hero logo, which is available as an added accessory.
Buyers can choose from three design themes – which include Beetle Red, Firefly Golden, and Bumble Bee Yellow. These themes are priced at Rs. 899, and customers can buy the complete kit at Rs 1399, including graphics, 3D Hero logo, rim tapes, etc.
Hero shares that the unique customization concept is a result of its ‘Hero CoLabs’ contest, which was launched on April 7, 2020. It allowed enthusiasts to showcase their creativity and design skills, and the company received over 10,000 registrations. The results were announced on May 16, 2020, and the company has put the top three design themes into production.
While customers can have any of these three graphic themes on their bikes, they can also choose the bike in the all-black avatar without any stickers. The Splendor Black & Accent is available at Rs 64,670 ex-showroom, Delhi.
