Smartron India have announced today the launch of their second generation ebike called as ‘tbike OneX’. The company says that the OneX has been built as a multi-modular, multi-purpose and multi-utility vehicle primarily for rideshare and delivery markets of the country.
Hyderabad based Smartron India, founded in 2014, have a vision to build India’s first global technology AI-OT and EV brand focusing on India and USA markets. It intends to offer personalized and intelligent experiences powered by tronX, its own AI-OT platform and ecosystem. They have recently started exporting their tbikes to several countries in Africa, UK/Ireland, Bhutan, and Mexico.

On the occasion, Mr. Mahesh Lingareddy (Founder and Chairman, Smartron) said –
“We are delighted to announce the launch of tbike oneX which is our 2nd generation multi-purpose ebike. It is built on highly successful and the recipient of Good Design Award, USA of tbike One and One Pro. While tbike oneX is designed for rideshare market, we envision it being used for lifestyle, tourism, e-commerce, e-pharmacies, e-groceries etc.”
Smartron India explain that the new e-bike – OneX is ‘Designed and Engineered in India’ and therefore, do not have to face the present and ongoing supply chain and logistics challenges.

The OneX is equipped with Magnesium Alloy wheels, puncture proof tires, and a lifetime warranty on the frame. The frame is specially designed using aluminum which gives it low weight and rust-proof characteristic.
The e-bike is claimed to achieve 25 km/h top speed and a range of 100+ km on single charge. It is also equipped with swappable battery and on-board charging options.
Smartron India is offering the e-bike OneX at a starting price of Rs. 38,000/- excluding GST.
