Ever since the success of their small capacity Gixxer, Suzuki seems to have become really serious about the Indian market. They are about to launch the new Access 125 tomorrow and Hayabusa is now being assembled in India, in turn knocking off over Rs 2 Lakhs from the sticker price.
Apart from this, they are also busy promoting their CBU line-up. Launched back in May last year, the GSX S1000 now comes with an attractive cashback offer and a free gift as well.
Valid till March 31, 2016, Suzuki will be offering a free Kushitani riding jacket to all GSX S1000 customers which is worth Rs 60,000. For those of you who don’t know, Kushitani is a well known Japanese motorcycle riding gear maker. Apart from this, the customers would also be entitled to a cashback of Rs 50,000. This effectively brings down the asking price of the GSX S1000 to Rs 11.75 (based on ex-showroom, Delhi prices).
GSX S1000 is powered by a 999 cc four pot liquid cooled mill producing 145.5 PS of maximum power and 106 Nm of peak torque (international specifications). It weighs 214 kilos (kerb) and has ABS as standard.

Along with its faired sibling GSX S1000F, the naked S1000 has pushed sales volumes for Suzuki in this litre class segment in India.
