After offering it on made in India export models, Royal Enfield has finally started introducing Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) on its domestic range. Largest seller for the brand, Classic 350 becomes the first motorcycle in the portfolio to feature the much needed safety tech. Know how ABS works.
But there is a minor twist – ABS is not on offer as standard and instead, the company has introduced a higher ‘special’ edition to, probably, create a bigger hype – they are calling it the Classic Signals 350 edition.

Classic 350 Signals ABS Changes & Features
Classic Signals, the company says, is a tribute to RE’s 65 year old association with the Indian Armed Forces. Here are the differences and features the special edition will come with…
- Each Classic Signals will have a unique stencilled production number on the tank.
- In terms of cosmetics, Signals variant will come with blacked out engine, silencer and wheels.
- They carry dark tan seats.
- The biggest change is of course the introduction of ABS. It must be pointed out that this is a proper dual channel ABS unit that these motorcycles have been equipped with.

This is approximately Rs 15,000 to 16,000 costlier than the Classic 350 rear disc variant. Classic Signals 350 is available in two new colour themes – Airborne Blue and Stormrider Sand.

It continues with the same 346 cc air cooled, single cylinder engine which produces 19.8 bhp of peak power at 5250 rpm and 28 Nm of healthy torque at 4000 rpm. It weighs 192 kg kerb.
