Revolt Motors was to commence bookings of its RV400 motorcycle today on its website. In an interesting turn of events, the bookings for the electric bike were finished in two hours. Now, the online booking window has been closed.
With the explosive public demand for RV400, Revolt Motors closed bookings by making sales worth INR 50 crore. This corresponds to total bookings of around 5500 units if we simply consider the retail price of the motorcycle.
Soon, the company will reopen its portal again for booking for the next lot. It will be for those customers who were not able to book their RV400 today.
Interested customers have to visit www.revoltmotors.com and click on Notify me button. Deliveries of the booked motorcycles will start from September 2021.
The massive price reduction on the RV400 after the FAME II subsidy raise has made the bike luring for the buyers. That clearly helped the bumper response today.
Currently, the Revolt RV400 costs INR 90,799 (ex-showroom) making it the most desirable motorcycle in the electric segment.
