Revolt motorcycle bookings have been stopped by the company temporarily to cater to the current demand; Will be re-opened later…
Only a few days back we got to know that RattanIndia has ventured in the electric vehicle space by investing Rs 150 crores in Revolt Intellicorp. This gave Revolt enough ammunition to enhance its spread and production (more details).
Following this, the company has shot in a press note informing the closure of bookings for now. It says it is over-booked due to the encouraging response it received and has paused taking fresh bookings. The company will now try to deliver motorcycles to the confirmed orders received from six cities it currently operates in.
It says it will reopen bookings once the first set of orders are completed. This will help in avoiding unnecessary customer dissatisfaction. Though Revolt hasn’t shared any specific numbers but it says it has received ‘large number’ of bookings.
Company’s MD, Rahul Sharma, said that they are overwhelmed at the response and are now trying to increase production at its facility in Manesar, Haryana.
Revolt currently sells two electric motorcycles – RV300 and RV400 which come with a range of 150 km, top speed of 100 kph and full battery charging time of 4 hours. Additionally, its motorcycle batteries have a warranty of 1.50 lakh km which, it says, is the highest for any EV in the country.
