In India when one thinks of buying a vehicle especially a two-wheeler the first thing that strikes is budget. In other words, the price of the bike or the scooter is first considered before anything else.
125cc motorcycle segment in India has been seeing a lot of action in the recent days. For instance, in the 125cc segment, the new TVS Raider 125 was launched recently. It fights out against players like Honda SP125, Hero Glamour, and Pulsar 125.
We have highlighted the spec comparo of these motorcycles here. In this story we will quickly list where is the Raider placed vis-a-vis others.
Raider vs Glamour vs Pulsar 125 vs SP125- Price Comparison
TVS Raider | Hero Glamour XTEC | Pulsar 125 | Honda SP125 | |
Base Variant | 77,500 | 80,500 | Regular Seat: 77,843 | 78381 |
High Variant | 85,469 | 85,100 | Split-Seat: 80,698 | 82677 |
Raider has been interestingly priced. Its base variant is pretty competitive, however, the higher trim is significantly costlier. There is a gap of almost Rs 8000 between these two variants. Someone had asked about this at the media ride and TVS’ official tried to present some reason that does not make a lot of sense.
The Chennai-based maker has already announced another trim which will get SmartXonnect and smartphone pair-ability – that will cost a lot more!
