A mail has landed up in our mailboxes. TVS could have just revealed the Jupiter 125 launch date, or is it something else…?
It seems TVS was just waiting for the world to go back to normalcy and it is bombarding the market with new products. First it was the 2022 Apache 310, followed by its re-entry in the 125cc motorcycle segment through Raider, and now this – a new launch scheduled on 7th Oct.
Earlier TVS had already sent media invites for this new product’s ride which is scheduled for 5th Oct. The teaser shows LED lights with the following text..

Though we have no concrete clue on what this upcoming model is but if we have to decipher – this could be the new Jupiter 125, that Sudarshan Venu, Joint MD of the company has already confirmed.
Those LED lights could be lamps on the apron and ‘MORE’ could be the punchline that could be used to market the bigger capacity Jupiter (since TVS used a similar marketing terminology for the original Jupiter as well).

With Jupiter 125, TVS would be trying to consolidate its position in the 125cc scooter segment after making a mark with its sporty Ntorq. Ntorq targets the sporty, younger crowd, whereas the bigger Jupiter will hope to rope in family oriented, generic buyers.
