Bajaj has been at the forefront of this nexus of makers that is mercilessly increasing prices of its motorcycles. The Pulsar RS200 and NS200 have become costlier, again!

It is questionable that why are makers hiking prices like crazy; interestingly, no reasons are being given whatsoever! Are these clear signs that makers are trying to make as much profits as possible with the lesser volumes they are currently able to achieve due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The latest hike on both these 200s ranges between Rs 4000 to 5000. However, the effective BS6 price increment since the first announced tag is Rs 17,479 for the RS200 whereas it is Rs 14,516 for the NS200. These are hikes of almost 12 percent within 15 odd months!
