Biggest Pulsar Would be ~400cc, Claims a Report; Launch Soon

All-new Pulsar NS400 launch very soon according to a report. It will be interesting to see if it will get the 375cc or the 400cc engine…

A little while back, Rajiv Bajaj officially announced that Bajaj will launch the biggest-ever Pulsar in the Indian market very soon. No, we are not talking about the 250s that were introduced as ‘Biggest-ever Pulsars’ in 2021 – but have not really yielded the kind of interest Bajaj was hoping for.

It was just late last year that Rajiv Bajaj had teased about the ‘Biggest-ever’ Pulsar, that will definitely be bigger than the current 250s. The next stop that Bajaj has is the 375cc engine that the Dominar adorns or the 400cc motor of the 390 Duke. However, there was always the possibility of the company carving out another motor somewhere in between – near 300cc.

But, according to a report at Autocar, it will be the NS series that will make the new (and most important) ‘biggest-ever’ Pulsar and it may be either of the two engines that I have mentioned above that it will sport. So, in essence, Pulsar NS400 will be the new Pulsar that is being readied for launch and it will be interesting to see if it gets the current Bajaj-ified motor from the Dom or if Bajaj goes all the way to create its own version of the 390 Duke’s now-bigger 398cc engine.

Bajaj recently gave the NS200 and NS160 biggest updates of their lives…

The strategy, it seems, is to now take the sportier Pulsar NS range as the torchbearer and project the N (and F) range as sporty commuters. The launch is claimed to take place within this fiscal – which means we may be a month or two away from the motorcycle.

OPINION: Bajaj PULSAR – Where is it Going?

However, there has been no official confirmation or conclusive evidence of the Pulsar NS400 as of now. But since the motorcycle is just on the anvil, we should start hearing about it (or seeing its spyshots) sometime soon.

What do you think? Will the Pulsar NS400 work? At what price tag should it come..?
