It appears that Bajaj has some serious plans with their Pulsar 400/200SS. After its first showcase in Turkey a few days back, the bike has been snapped testing on Colombian roads and boy doesn’t it look handsome.
Though we do not have any direct confirmation that this is the 200SS, but considering that (according to our information), it is coming out earlier, this may just be the smaller sibling on test. The bikes look muscular and with a lot of styling cues with a not-so-aggressive riding posture. So, all you motorcyclists who feel that the RC200 is just too track-focussed and a pain in day to day traffic, Pulsar 200SS may just end up being your partner in crime.
The motorcycles are running with minimal camouflage across the city roads. Another set of pics shared by one of our reader Rahul, features a Pulsar 200SS which appears to be sale-ready complete, however, we are not sure which country they have been captured in. It may not be India is what we feel.
This confirms that Bajaj is targeting the international markets with their new faired Pulsars. An earlier pic of Pulsar 200SS has raised hopes that the bike may be available with an option of ABS.
Pulsar 200SS will not just be an addition of a fairing to the Pulsar 200NS and instead it will also carry fuel injection and an expected minor power increment to the same 200cc engine which is shared by the Duke 200 as well.
As we have talked about a few days back, Pulsar 200SS is NOT coming very soon and may be launched sometime in early 2015.
