Building upon the success of their most affordable offering – Trident 660 – Triumph India today launched the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 at Rs. 8,95,000/- (ex-showroom)

The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is the Sports-Touring version of their popular and most affordable (relatively) Trident 660 roadster. 

The newest entrant in the Tiger Line-up is more suitable for long mile-munching excursions aided by a tall windscreen and small wind-deflecting fairing at the front.

Triumph Tiger Sport 660 Colours and Price

Triumph India is offering the newest entrant – Tiger Sport 660 – at a starting price of Rs. 8,95,000/- (ex-showroom). 

This pricing places the Tiger Sport 660 above the Trident 660 Roadster by nearly Rs. 1.5 Lakhs

Triumph Tiger Sport 660 Highlights and Features

As mentioned earlier, the Tiger Sport 660 is a sports-touring model based on the Trident model, and this is the reason both the bikes have very similar mechanicals and features

  • The Trident is powered by a 240-degree firing order, 660 cc, 3-cylinder Inline, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 12-valve engine. 
  • The powerhouse produces 80 HP of power @ 10,250 RPM and 64 Nm of torque @ 6250 RPM. 
  • The power is transferred through a 6-speed transmission equipped with a wet, multi-plate clutch assisted by a slipper system
  • The chassis is made of a tubular steel perimeter frame combined with 41mm Showa Separate Function Forks (SFF) upside-down forks at the front and Showa monoshock with preload adjustment at the rear. 
  • Braking is handled by twin 310 mm Nissin two-piston sliding calipers, floating discs at the front and single 255 mm single-piston sliding caliper disc at the rear, assisted by ABS. 
  • Tyre Profile – 17” – 120/70 at the front and 17” – 180/55 at the rear. 
  • Seat Height – 835 mm.
  • Wheelbase – 1418 mm.
  • Weight – 206 kg (wet).
  • It has a fuel capacity of 17.2 L. 
  • It is offered in three colours – Korosi Red with Graphite, Lucerne Blue with Sapphire Black and Graphite with Sapphire Black. 
  • In features, it gets – TFT instrumentation, all-LED Lighting, two ride-modes and switchable traction control. 
  • Service Intervals –  at 16,000 km or 12 months, whichever is earlier.
