Following their entrance in the Indian EV market last month, Oben Electric launched their first electric ‘performance’ motorcycle – Oben Rorr – in Bengaluru yesterday.
Oben Rorr Price, Booking and Availability
Oben have launched the Rorr at Rs. 99,999/- (ex-showroom) and the company have started taking online pre-booking for the e-motorcycle at Rs. 999/-.
The Oben Rorr will be able to leverage the FAME II subsidies along with respective State subsidies.

Oben Rorr Highlights and Features
- Oben claims that the Rorr electric performance motorcycle is completely designed, developed and manufactured in India.
- The Rorr is offered in three dual-tone colours.
- The electric motorcycle gets three drive modes – Eco, City and Havoc.
- Oben is fitted with a 4.4 kW battery pack encased in an aluminium die-cast casing.
- The Rorr is propelled by a 10 kW (13.5 PS) IPMSM motor which is capable of pushing the bike to 100 km/h top speed and 0-40 km/h time of 3 seconds.
- The company boasts that the Rorr can achieve 200 km (IDC) range on a single charge and is equipped with 15A on-board charging capability which can completely charge the bike in 2 hours.
- The features Rorr gets equipped with are Combined braking system (CBS), Driver alert system, Battery theft protection and a Smart mobile app enabling ride details, battery status, Geo-fencing etc.

The company founders – Mr. Dinkar Agarwal and Ms. Madhumita Agarwal – shared that moving forward they will be expanding on after-sales service and support.
Oben stated that their manufacturing facility located in Electronic City, Bengaluru, will soon begin its operation and production and will be able to produce nearly 3 Lakh units per year.
Their next step is to expand and offer their products and services in the states like Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and more cities of Karnataka by Q2 of 2022.
