Ninja 300 Recalled in India for Faulty Master Cylinder

Ninja 300 recall pertains to the master cylinder of the motorcycle. This affects only motorcycles that are from the localised lot…

Ninja 300 is and has been one of our favourite entry level sports motorcycle in India. Last year Kawasaki localised the motorcycle and slashed a huge sum of money from its ex-showroom price. At its new (and current) price tag of Rs 2.98 Lakh ex-showroom, Ninja 300 is the most affordable twin-cylinder sports motorcycle in India.

This has automatically meant that sales have risen manyfold and the motorcycle is enjoying it out in monthly charts. However, there seems to be some issue with the master cylinder of the motorcycle – we are talking about the new localised braking setup deployed by Kawasaki.

According to Autocar, the Endurance-made front master cylinder is faulty and can potentially cause brake failure! This may include all or most of the units that were sold when the current model of localised Ninja 300 was launched.
