Next-Gen Pulsar 250 Launch Date Revealed

Pulsar 250 launch date is October 28 according to the word on the internet. There will be at least two models on this platform…

It is very well known that Bajaj is testing its new generation Pulsars on the roads. Though there is no concrete evidence but it is believed that they will be quarter liter models. And there will be, at least, two of them – one semi faired and one naked.

Both the models have been on test runs since long and the next question everyone has is when is the launch. This question has been answered – new-gen Pulsar 250 will be launched on 28th October according to the word on the internet.

It is speculated that the upcoming Pulsars will carry an all-new engine platform that will omit liquid cooling and will come with a simpler layout. That also means that it will have relatively simpler technology as compared to the current 200cc Pulsars.

Hence, power is expected to be around 24-25 PS – which means that it will have similar or lesser power than the current liquid cooled Pulsar NS200.

Some of you may be wondering – why will Bajaj adopt such a strategy of offering a relatively simpler motorcycle at a higher displacement? This is because Bajaj’s 200s come with complex, costlier tech like liquid cooling, 6-speed gearbox, etc. And the norm of the segment is not this high. Hence, Bajaj may be considering simplifying things.
