New Honda CB350RS price is Rs 3500 more than the premium variant of H’Ness CB350. It offers sportier styling and gets few changes…
As expected, Honda has unveiled its second motorcycle in the new 350 platform – the CB350RS. Before you ask, ‘RS’ here stands for ‘Road Sailing’. The idea is to offer a comfortable ride quality in a motorcycle that looks sportier than the H’Ness CB350.
So, as you may have guessed, the CB350RS shares most of the mechanicals with the standard CB350 including that 350cc, air cooled, single cylinder engine which churns 21 PS of peak power at 5500 rpm and 30 Nm of max torque at 3000 rpm. There may be minor tuning changes to the motor, however.
The CB350RS gets round LED headlamps with ring design and eye-shaped LED side blinkers along with a redesigned LED tail-lamp. Further accentuating the sportiness of the RS is that integrated grab rail, upswept exhaust canister and a flatter ‘tuck and roll’ seat.
The RS also gets a wider 150mm but smaller 17 inch rear tyre. For reference, it is 130 mm 18 incher on the CB350. Front tyre spec remains the same at 100/90 19 inch. However, to present this as a slightly better off-road motorcycle, Honda has opted to offer it with semi-knobby type tyres.
