Very silently, Suzuki Motorcycles India has updated their bread and butter scooter Access with a minor niptuck job to keep the volumes churning.
While the newly launched Let’s is taking care of the 110cc segment, Access has the responsibility of keeping the lead in the 125cc scooter segment which has seen the launch of Activa 125 very recently.
The scooter mechanically remains absolutely the same. The 124cc mill produces 8.7PS of power at 7000rpm and 9.8Nm of maximum torque at 5000rpm. Access weighs 112 kgs and has a 6 liter fuel tank. It also houses a large 20L under seat storage space. Access also features central locking and a unique safety shutter for a single control point for convenience and safety.

- 3-D Access and Suzuki logo.
Suzuki Access was launched back in 2007 when the scooter industry had few successful players, the Honda Activa being at the top of the ladder. It aimed to be a more powerful alternative to the Activa thanks to the extra displacement and it still is a fantastic option for anyone who wants a complete family scooter.

The new 2014 Suzuki Access is available in five colors:
- Candy Antares Red
- Glass Sparkle Black
- Metallic Sonic Silver
- Pearl Mirage White
- Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey
Apart from this, one can even buy a special Being Human edition of the Access which also features a few cosmetic differences.
The new Suzuki Access has been priced at Rs 53,223 (on road, Delhi), which includes a few standard accessories like a mirror set, floor mat and a footrest.
