Mahindra has added a new Sunset Yellow paint scheme to the Mojo. The motorcycle has been giving the manufacturer some decent numbers and with this new colour they will be hoping to add up to it.
The Mojo is powered by a 295 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected mill churning out 27 PS of maximum power and 30 Nm of peak torque. That’s not all. The bike gets several premium features like Pirelli tyres, double barrel exhaust and a large 21-litre fuel tank.
Another feature which has not got its fair share of limelight has been the limp mode. If the malfunction light or the coolant lamp warning starts glowing, the engine shall enter limp mode and won’t allow the bike to rev beyond 5,000 rpm. This will help you to reach the home safely or the nearest service centre.
Now with the availability of the new Sunset Yellow paint scheme, Mojo’s colour options include Volcano Red, Charcoal Black and Glacier White. A special tourer edition is also available which will get you a host of handy accessories. Oh wait, did I tell you about the roll-over sensor, which switches off the engine in case of a fall?
Mahindra has also promised four new variants for the Mojo. while one them is an ABS version, the other three are going to be an adventure, street and cruiser models. You can read more about them by clicking on this link. The Indian bike maker has also recently bought the iconic BSA brand via its subsidiary Classic Legends for the global market. They also have the right to sell Jawa branded motorcycles in the Indian sub-continent.
The Mahindra Mojo currently retails at an ex-showroom, Delhi price tag of Rs 1,69,870.
