Maestro Edge 125 price starts at Rs 58,500 – all the variants cost more than Destini 125…
Along with the new Pleasure+ (launch story here), Hero has also launched the new Maestro Edge 125 in India. This scoot was first showcased last year at the 2018 Auto Expo. It carries similar design language of the 110 cc version and is offered in three variants.
Maestro Edge 125 joins the Destini 125 as Hero’s second 125cc scooter in the portfolio but more importantly, it also becomes the first fuel injected scooter in India in the affordable segment. The carburettor-equipped Maestro Edge 125 churns out 8.7 bhp of peak power at 6750 rpm and 10.2 Nm of max torque at 5000 rpm. The fuel injected version, however, produces slightly higher 9.1 bhp of power at 7000 rpm and the same amount of torque.
Additionally, the idle Stop-start system (i3S) technology is available only in the carburettor variant whereas the CBS (combined braking system) is on offer as standard.

Pleasure range is targeted at women riders whereas Duet/Destini are promoted as family oriented scooters. The Maestro range is flashier and Hero intends to rope in youngsters through it.
