It has been perplexing times for Hero MotoCorp. They sell Pleasure, which is quite an old scooter. It is equipped with Honda’s 102cc engine which even Honda dumped many years ago. However, the reason of Hero’s nervousness is that it (Pleasure), often, outsells company’s more contemporary and indigenous scooters like Maestro Edge and Duet.
It probably may not be possible for that 102cc motor to become BSVI compliant and hence, Hero has come up with a nice ploy. They have officially launched an all-new Pleasure which carries the bigger 110.9 cc engine from the range. It is called as Pleasure+ and till next year, it appears that Hero will sell it alongside the older Pleasure.
The bigger engine now produces 8 bhp of peak power at 7500 rpm and 8.70 Nm of max torque at 5500 rpm. For reference, the current Pleasure churns out 6.9 bhp of power and 8.1 Nm of torque (from that 102cc oldy!).
It also gets refreshed styling along with features like integrated braking system (standard), bigger trunk space with boot light, mobile charger, longer seat etc.
