Final Jawa Perak price has increased by about Rs 5500. It comes with a bigger engine, different swingarm and many other changes…
Exactly after one year of Jawa’s Indian foray, the company has officially launched its Perak in India. Perak is a bobber designed factory custom motorcycle which was first unveiled (…actually launched) on 15th November last year. It was to be made available in the first half of 2019, however, we all know that Jawa could not keep up with the production of its existing motorcycles and hence Perak could not see light of the day.
Talking about the motorcycle, Perak is considerably different from Jawa and Forty Two. It has a longer swingarm and gets a monoshock in place of dual rear suspension of the existing Jawa twins. It also has a slightly bigger 334 cc engine which has been possible due to a larger bore (stroke remains same). As a result, Perak churns higher power output of 30.4 PS and along with 31 Nm of torque. Moreover, this is Jawa’s first Bharat Stage 6 compliant motorcycle and is equipped with a 6-speed transmission.

Is This The First Official Hint of Yezdi’s Return?
In all these months, price of Perak has increased by Rs 5500 and the motorcycle comes equipped with front and rear disc brakes along with dual channel ABS as standard.
Why Has JAWA Stopped Sharing Sales Numbers?
Jawa has announced that bookings of Perak will commence from 1st January 2020 and deliveries are scheduled to start from April 2020 onwards which is still 5-6 months away!
