Classic 350 ABS price increase is the lowest in the industry for that dual-channel unit…
The largest selling motorcycle in Royal Enfield’s kitty, Classic 350 has now received Antilock Braking System (ABS). It must be known that motorcycles above 125cc without ABS will not be allowed to be sold in India from 1st April 2019.
Like other motorcycles in the range (Redditch, Signals etc), the standard version of Classic 350 has received a proper dual-channel ABS which works on both the wheels. Mechanically there is no change to the motorcycle and it continues to be powered by the same 346cc single cylinder air cooled twin spark engine, which is capable of producing 19.8 bhp of peak power at 5250 rpm and 28 Nm of maximum torque at 4000 rpm.
Anchoring power is provided by 280 mm disc brake with 2 piston calipers at the front and 240 mm rear disc brake with a single piston caliper.

Weird Royal Enfield TRIALS Launch Soon
As you can see the the price hike is just Rs 5781 which is the lowest amount you have to pay for the safety tech of a dual-channel ABS system. Many other manufacturers are offering it for a lot more. However, this could also mean that RE compensated a part of this amount from its profit share from this motorcycle.
