Story continues 14 Feb 2022: KTM and Brabus have announced their collaboration which has spawned the ‘Brabus 1300R’ – a highly modified version of KTM 1290 Super Duke R.
The KTM-Brabus 1300R marks the first venture of the famous Brabus brand in the two-wheeler world. Since 1977, Brabus has made its name synonymous with luxury, handcrafted exclusivity and performance.

Bringing their touch into the two-wheeler domain, the Brabus 1300 R is introduced as an exclusive, high-end elegant design which is combined with brutal performance.
The Key Ingredients, KTM boasts, of the Brabus 1300 R which make it a true Brabus is the ‘Black and Bold’ design language which includes two signature paint schemes, forged BRABUS Monoblock Z wheels, high-end carbon body elements and a stylish custom-made seat exclusively made with expert attention to detail by the Brabus’ interior specialists.
Brabus 1300 R Key Highlights
The Engine is the same as the KTM 1290 Super Duke R V-twin unit producing blistering 180 HP at 9500 RPM and 140 Nm at 8000 RPM.
The Brabus 1300 R is offered in two exclusive colours – Magma Red and Signature Black.
The 1300 R will only be limited to 77 units of each colour – the 77 signifying the year of establishment of Brabus.
The beast will utilise the WP Apex semi-active suspension offering 6 damping modes – Comfort, Street, Sport, Track, Advanced and Auto.
