So the next important question everybody is waiting to get answer of is – When is the 390 Adventure launching in India? KTM 390 Adventure Launch
Now, Autocar has shared a speculative picture of how the production version could look and along with that they have a probable launch month. According to them, 390 Adventure may be launched in India around November. The basis of their understanding is EICMA which is scheduled from 5th to 10th November in Milan.
KTM generally unveils its new products at EICMA, followed by their launches in various parts of the world. So, it is a big possibility that KTM may first showcase the production version of 390 Adventure at EICMA first and launch it up just after that. They also say that the Husqvarnas, which are also already on test on Indian roads, are also expected to be launched here around the same time frame.
The India-spec 390 Adventure is being tested with 19-17 inch Continental TKC tyre combination with alloy wheels. Engine of the motorcycle will definitely remain the same, however, it is expected to be tuned differently for the dual-sport application.
Since the motorcycle is expected to be BS VI ready, we estimate it to cost around 2.80-2.90 Lakhs ex-showroom, significantly undercutting the G310 GS fro BMW (which costs 3.49 Lakh). KTM has also started testing the next-gen Duke 390 but not in India. It is expected to get major changes – here are the first spy pics…
