KTM 390 Adventure Deliveries & Price Reveal Next Month

Your wait is coming to an end as KTM 390 Adventure deliveries will commence in a month from now and this is official…

The much awaited motorcycle which has been speculated since 2015-16 has finally been showcased and confirmed for India. Bajaj displayed the 390 Adventure at the India Bike Week on Friday last week. Finally, KTM will be the one offering a powerful and relatively affordable adventure for the Indian bikers.

The 390 Adventure shares a few bits with the versatile 390 Duke including that very potent 373cc single cylinder, DOHC, engine. On the ADV it continues to churn the same 43 hp of peak power and 37 Nm of max torque. The good news is that this is the BS6 version of this motor which means there has been no power drop in this transition and that the same spec engine will go the new 390 Duke (and RC390) as well.

KTM says the 390 Adventure has been ‘purpose built for adventure travel while being a great ride for city use as well!‘. Among prominent ADV traits it comes with a longer suspension travel, knobby tyres, higher ground clearance, protective bash plate and extendable windshield.

It is also equipped with features like ride by wire, lean angle sensitive Motorcycle Traction Control, Cornering ABS, Offroad ABS and Quickshifter. Like the 390 Duke, sibling 390 ADV also features a full colour TFT display but a larger 14.5 liter fuel tank.

Another important listing is that the 390 Adventure will be sold across all 460 KTM dealerships in India. This means that though it may take some time but it will be the motorcycle with a much larger reach than its direct rival BMW G310 GS.
