If you are out in the market to purchase electric two wheelers in India, you have plenty of options in scooters, but that is not the case when it comes to motorcycles, as we do not have many options in this segment.
However, a Goa-based startup called Kabira Mobility has come up with not one but two electric bikes in the country. What’s worthwhile is that the company claims that these two are the fastest electric two-wheelers in the country.
Kabira Mobility has launched KM3000 and KM4000 in India, which feature a DeltaEV BLDC Hub Motor and DeltaEV Smart FOC Controller. While the KM3000 is a full-faired ‘sports bike’, the KM4000 is designed as a ‘naked bike’. KM3000 weighs 138 kg, and KM4000 has a kerb weight of 147 kg.
Both the bikes can be charged on two modes; charging on Eco mode takes 6 hours 30 minutes for full battery and if you choose to charge it on Boost mode, it can be charged 80% in just 50 minutes. The KM3000 will come with a 6000W motor, and KM4000 has a more powerful 8000W motor.
The motorcycles come with top speeds of 120 km/h, and a range of 150 km (on Eco mode) on a single charge. Riding the bike in city will offer you a range of 95 kms and you can ride 60 kms with the Sports mode turned on.
