Exactly After 20 Months of First Unveil Jawa PERAK Deliveries Commence

Jawa Perak deliveries have now started after seven months since the company commenced bookings. We hope the process is now seamless as ‘deliveries’ have been the Achilles heel for Jawa!

Classic Legends first introduced the bobber-styled motorcycle – Perak in India in November 2018 along with Jawa and Forty Two. It was priced at Rs 1.89 Lakh ex-showroom and deliveries were scheduled to start from early 2019.

Amidst multiple delays, it again launched the motorcycle in November 2019 – this time at a slight premium. Official bookings opened in January 2020 and deliveries were scheduled to begin from April 2, 2020. While that itself was a wait long enough, the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic led to further delays.

However, after exactly one year and eight months of first showcase of the Perak, Jawa has commenced its deliveries. The first Perak has been delivered to its customer at Cult Classics – Jawa’s authorised dealership in Hyderabad. Many customers are waiting for the motorcycle for the last six-seven months of booking.

The good thing is that the company has used the time during lockdowns to enhance the power figures of the bike’s engine. The motorcycle now produces higher torque figures of 32.74 Nm as compared to 31 Nm previously. Power figures stand at 30.4 PS.
