Perak bookings will be kept limited to avoid long wait periods. The gorgeous looking motorcycle is claimed to be India’s first factory-custom bobber.
Jawa announced the launch of Perak earlier in November 2019. It kept 1st January as the official bookings commencement date and 6 pm was the time.
However, bookings got delayed due to some technical glitch which made the Jawa Website inaccessible. Jawa cited ‘heavy website traffic’ as the reason for the snag and it took the company more than six hours to iron out the issue.
Finally, according to a Facebook update from the company, bookings could commence at 1-2 am in the night and as we can check, the webpage is working fine now.
The booking process is a 3-step activity.
- Enter your personal details.
- Validate your mobile number through an OTP.
- Pay the Booking Fee.
You need to pay Rs 10,000 as the booking amount for the bobber but the good news is that it is a fully refundable amount. So, if after test riding (and/or seeing it in person) you are not satisfied with the motorcycle you can cancel your booking and get the full amount back. Since there is no dealership involved in this process, it appears that the refund process will be seamless for most of the buyers.
