Husqvarna launch date is just a few days away and the biggest confusion is related to its placement, specially due to the recent spy pics…
So, finally the wait is about to get over! After multiple delays, Bajaj is ready with Husqvarna for the Indian market.
Husqvarna Launch Date
In a recent interview, Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director at Bajaj Auto, has confirmed that Husqvarna will be launched in India in the first week of December ie within the coming few days!
KTM has announced its first time participation at this year’s India Bike Week and it is speculated that the agenda includes the launch of 390 Adventure as well as other KTM motorcycles. India Bike Week is scheduled on 6-7 December at Vagator, Goa.
Why are we talking IBW is because it appears that Husqvarnas are also likely to be unveiled/launched at the same event. KTM may want to utilise it to the max and it doesn’t look probable that it will conduct another media event for Husqvarna alone that too just a few days ahead of the big IBW!
Husqvarna will begin its journey in India with the Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 – the two motorcycles which share the 373cc engine with the 390 Duke but are a world apart in design, usage and target customer base.
390 Adventure is OUT, But What Happens to This 390 Scrambler?
Retail sales, Rakesh informs, will commence from January-February onwards and it will surely be the Bharat Stage VI versions that Bajaj will debut these machines with!
KTM Dealer Confirms New Launches at IBW
Pricing is difficult to predict at this point of time. It was initially believed that KTM will keep Husqvarna’s at a slightly higher pedestal than respective KTMs but a recent spotting of one of the 401 with MRF tyres (spy pics here) has ended up confusing the market. So, all will depend on how kitted they are and what preposition does Bajaj want to offer!
