Husqvarna 250 latest prices are whopping 10-11 percent more than the first launch tags of the 250 Swedish duo in India…
Bajaj has decided that enough of promoting and pushing its KTM and Husqvarna brands as VFM (Value for Money) motorcycles. That could be the sole reason why we are seeing incessant price hikes on them in the last few years. There was a time when the single cylinder 390 KTM was sold at under 2 lakhs. And now, the flagship 390 Adventure costs a Ninja 300 – a twin cylinder sports motorcycle!
Similar is the story for the 250s as well. While the 250 Duke now is a 2.21 Lakh motorcycle, the new entrants from Husqvarna – Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 also cost a bomb. Here are the latest prices…
Husqvarna 250 Latest Prices – 2021
|Model||Launch Price||Latest Price (April 2021)|
|Svartpilen 250||Rs 1.80 Lakh||Rs 1,99,296|
|Vitpilen 250||Rs 1.80 Lakh||Rs 1,98,669|
The Huskys were officially launched in India in February 2020 and their deliveries commenced in March. As you can see, the price hike in about 12-13 months since it was available for customers is Rs 19,296 for the Svartpilen and Rs 18,669 for the Vitpilen.
This corresponds to a hike of very significant ~10-11 percent. It could simply be called as repositioning rather than correction. The latest increase as compared to their last prices is Rs 9728 and Rs 8717 respectively. These were hiked only three months ago, in January 2021!
There is no change in the motorcycles and they continue to be offered with the same single cylinder, 248.76 cc, liquid cooled, DOHC engine that produces 30PS of peak power at 9000 rpm and 24 Nm of max torque at 7500 rpm.
