BIG Price Hike: Husqvarna 250s Get ₹30,000 Costlier Since Launch

Husqvarna 250 latest prices are whopping 17 percent more than their first launch tags. They now cost a Dominar 400!

Bajaj has decided that enough of promoting and pushing KTM and Husqvarna brands as VFM (Value for Money) motorcycles. That could be the sole reason why we are seeing incessant price hikes on them in the last few years. There was a time when the single cylinder 390 KTM was sold at under 2 lakhs. And now, the flagship 390 Adventure costs more than the Ninja 300 – a twin cylinder sports motorcycle!

Similar is the story for the 250s as well. While the 250 Duke now is a 2.29 Lakh motorcycle, the new entrants from Husqvarna – Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 also cost a bomb. Here are the latest prices…

The Huskys were officially launched in India in February 2020 and their deliveries commenced in March. As you can see, the price hike in about one and a half year is around Rs 30,650. There is also a marginal difference between the tags of both the models now.

This corresponds to a hike of very significant 17 percent. It could simply be called as repositioning rather than correction. The latest increase as compared to their last prices is very close to Rs 11,100.

There is no change in the motorcycles and their specifications. They continue to be offered with the same single cylinder, 248.76 cc, liquid cooled, DOHC engine that produces 30PS of peak power at 9000 rpm and 24 Nm of max torque at 7500 rpm.
