New Honda RS-X Repsol Edition is a direct rival of Yamaha Aerox 155 scooter… The RS-X is slightly more powerful than the Aerox…
So, Honda have launched a new version of their moto-scooter RS-X called – Honda RS-X Repsol Edition in the Malaysian market. As the name suggests, the scooter is donning the Honda Racing Company’s (HRC) Repsol MotoGP factory colours.
Looking at the scooter, it is very easy to realize that this scooter is the perfect contender to Yamaha’s Aerox 155 moto-scooter which, sadly, doesn’t have the Monster Energy MotoGP Edition in our country anymore.

As mentioned earlier, the RS-X moto-scooter is very similar in design to the Yamaha Aerox 155. The design language and aesthetics of the RS-X are a result of putting a scooter’s approachability to a motorcycle’s body.
Adding to the already offered three colour options is the new Repsol colour scheme. The Repsol design combines the Orange, Red and White colours of the HRC MotoGP factory team.

While the new Repsol paint scheme does make the RS-X look race ready, the company has brought no changes to design and mechanicals of the moto-scooter.
The RS-X continues the same 149.16 cc, liquid-cooled engine which produces 15.8 HP of power and 13.6 Nm of torque. The engine puts down the power through a 6-speed automatic transmission system. The rival – Aerox 155 – makes 15 HP of power and 13.9 Nm of torque.
The moto-scooter in Malaysia runs on 17” alloys which are suspended on telescopic forks in the front and monoshock setup at the rear. The braking is handled by single-disc at both ends aided by single-channel ABS as standard.
Honda Malaysia have introduced the RS-X Repsol Edition at RM 9,550 which is equivalent to Rs. 1.77 Lakh in ours. If you are thinking of buying one in India, sadly, there is no plan of it coming to our shores anytime soon.
