It has taken Honda 20 years to reach this sales milestone. More interestingly, it took Honda only 5 years to reach the second half of 35 lac customers. Honda sells all its conventional BS6 models like Activa, Livo, Shine, etc.
Honda also plays in the premium segment and has two BigWing stores – one in Jaipur and the other one in Ludhiana. It also sells premium models through its BigWing Topline in Gurugram. Add to this, the company has two of its manufacturing facilities in the Northern region – Manesar in Haryana and Tapukara in Rajasthan.
Apart from consolidating its position in the commuter motorcycles and scooters through new models and refreshes to existing models, Honda is also working on improving its portfolio in the premium segment. It has introduced the Hornet 180 as well as the CB350 range in the market recently.
