Honda Navi Launched at Rs 39,500 – That’s a Weirdly Interesting Bobby Motorcycle [Auto Expo 2016]

After keeping everybody guessing about it for sometime, Honda today unveiled and launched their new offering, Navi along with announcement of bookings. Aiming to create a new segment for urban commuting mixed with a bit of fun factor, the Navi carries a starting price tag of Rs 39,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings for the bike have commenced via a dedicated Android application while deliveries of the same will begin only in the month of April. Being the company’s first model to be developed and engineered in India, Honda has high hopes from the Navi.

While the design form has been kept pretty interesting, Navi could be called a ‘mini’-motorcycle part scooter. It gets the tried and tested 109.19 cc single cylinder, air cooled HET engine.

Honda says that 70 per cent of the two-wheelers sold in India have an engine displacement of up to 110 cc. What compelled them to make the Navi is the monotonousness present in this bunch. Almost every product in the range has similar specifications and features. Navi has the looks to stay clear from the herd.

Honda says that they have designed Navi in such a way that the customer can customize it as per his needs via a plethora of options.

Navi Colours

The colour options include:

  • Patriot Red
  • Hopper Green
  • Shasta White
  • Spanky Orange
  • Black

With five different colours to choose from, Navi tries hard to be an eye catcher but beauty in this case is actually subjective. They have kept on display three concepts based on Navi – Navi Street, Navi Adventure and Navi off-road.
