Honda GB350 Japan range is the same that we get in India under the CB350 moniker. We list the prices and differences below…
Honda understands tricks of the trade. It is well understood that it will definitely try to utilize this made in India 350 platform to it max. And that means exporting the motorcycles to various markets across the world.
In a latest, Honda has taken both the CB350 and CB350 RS to its homeland Japan, albeit under different monikers. While the CB350 has been rebranded as GB350 the sportier RS variant is called as GB350 S. Though they are exactly the same models that we have in India, there are minor differences.
The GB350 weighs 180 kg whereas the S variant tips the scale at 178 kg. This is 1 kilo lesser on both the models respectively when compared with their Indian counterparts. Another interesting bit to note is the engine output difference. The Japanese GBs churn 15 KW (20.4 PS) of peak power at 5500 rpm and 29 Nm of max torque at 3000 rpm. On the other hand, the Indian CB350 siblings produce 15.5 KW (21 PS) and 30 Nm at the same rpms. This means that the Japanese models churn about 0.6 PS and 1 Nm lesser than their Indian counterparts. The color offerings are also different from the Indian models.
Honda has plans to sell 4500 units of these GBs in Japan per year. Rest of the stuff seems to be similar to the Indian variants.
