Honda has come forward to help all its stakeholders during this second wave of COVID-19 led disruption – that include dealers, customers, employees..

The second wave of Corona has badly hit the Automotive industry in India. With a slight improvement in the situation, automobile firms are trying to pick up their business from where they left. 

Having said that, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd. is bouncing back on its feet post the COVID lockdown. It is restarting work at its production facilities across India. Honda’s production plants in Haryana, Rajasthan, and Gujarat have resumed functioning. Production will pick pace in the weeks to come.

The company has also announced financial support for its authorized dealerships that are currently closed due to complete regional lockdowns. The 2-wheeler major will pay full interest cost for showrooms that were closed for 1 month or more depending upon the situation. 

On this financial aid for dealerships, Sales & Marketing Director for Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, Mr. Yadvinder Guleria believes that this help will allow the authorized outlets to sustain business in these testing times.

Honda has already announced a support package for its customers. The company has extended the warranty of the purchased vehicles till the end of July 2021.
