At a digital event earlier today, Honda has officially unveiled its retro classic H’Ness CB350 for the Indian market (here is the unveil story). Right from its design to a lot of specs there is ample evidence that Honda had the Royal Enfield in sight. This is after a long time a direct RE competitor has emerged of this scale.
Honda CB350 is offered in two variants – Deluxe and Deluxe Pro. The Deluxe variant comes in single-tone colors and this maroon is one of them.
This is the Deluxe Pro version with dual tone paint shade. It also gets a two-unit horn and Honda Smartphone Voice Control System which is exclusive to this variant.The CB350 is offered with many interesting features like Honda Selectable Torque Control, dual channel ABS, Assist and Slipper clutch, etc.
The meat of the matter is this 348.36cc, single cylinder motor which produces 15.5 KW of peak power at 5500 rpm and 30 Nm of max torque at 3000 rpm.
It comes with many new-age features like these round LED headlamps… ..and this analogue-digital instrument cluster which displays info like average mileage, realtime mileage, gear position indicator, distance to empty, etc. It also has Bluetooth pairing capability wherein you can connect your smartphone and get more data.Here are the control buttons on the switchgear.
The exact price of CB350 has not been revealed by Honda yet. It says, it will start from around Rs 1.90 Lakh ex-showroom. We have discussed more on this in this article.
