Second Edition of Honda SunChasers will take 25 riders through the challenging terrain of area around Leh-Ladakh…
Honda have kicked off their 2nd Edition of SunChasers riders and have flagged off 25 Honda owners/riders from the foothills of Leh-Ladakh.
This 6-day long journey will lead these 25 participating riders across picturesque & challenging landscapes, unique hamlets, and numerous monasteries of Leh. The expedition will also include spiritual explorations of famous monasteries such as Shey, Thikse, Stakna and Hemis.
Flagging off the 2nd edition of Honda BigWing SunChasers, Mr. Atsushi Ogata (MD, President and CEO, HMSI) said –
“Both Honda H’ness CB350 and CB350RS have seen fantastic response since inception and are well appreciated by riders for touring in all kinds of terrains. With the new SunChasers edition with the theme ‘A higher chase’, Leh, the magical land of high passes presents the perfect setting for testing both the motorcycles as well as the riders. We wish our riders a safe and exciting journey. Hope the riders will have truly remarkable memories during this adventure.”
Each day of the 6-day ride will lead the riders to higher altitudes and challenging terrain as they ride through the hills and valleys of Khardung La, Pangong, Nubra and Chang La, before circling back to Leh. These Honda owners/riders will be riding their Honda H’ness CB350 motorcycles, powered by its 348 cc, single-cylinder engine putting out 21 HP & 30 Nm of torque.

Speaking of the Honda CB350 model, Honda patented a new name ‘CB350 Brigade’ in India recently. No other information regarding this patented name is available as of now.
While some whispers suggest that this might be a new variant added to the CB350 lineup soon, a few whispers suggest that this could be the name of a new riding club exclusively for the CB350 owners. There are currently 2 variants offered in the CB350 range – CB350 H’ness & CB350 RS.
