New Speculations on Himalayan 650 Emerge

New Himalayan 650 details claim that the model may be mellowed down in the 650cc avatar. Launch details also speculated…

One of the very known fact is that in order to keep its stronghold in its segment against the fresh salvo from different makers, Royal Enfield is working on a lot of new motorcycles that will play in different segments in the coming future.

Though there is no spyshot to talk about yet, top company officials were pretty vocal in spelling out that the company was already considering the bigger Himalayan 650 way back in October 2018.

However, soon after that things went dry and there were no updates. However, fresh rumors and speculations have started to surface again.

As per recent speculations, RE did kickstart an R&D for equipping the 650cc motor in the Himalayan but stalled the project as it was not technically feasible.

However, the project had to be given a green signal as there is apparently a lot of demand for such a motorcycle in the market.

We may get to see two avatars of the 650cc motorcycle – one with alloy wheels and the other one with spoked wheels – targeted at different audience set.
