In most cities the new price hike is Rs 1000; Xtreme 200R latest price along with the quantum of hike till now – details in this story…
Very reluctantly and unassertively, Hero launched the Xtreme 200R in India in the second half of last year, after missing many announced timelines. As was expected, due to its meek specs, it was placed as a 150-180cc motorcycle competitor rather than a full-fledged 200cc rival against Pulsar NS200, Apache 200 etc.
Originally priced at Rs 88,000 ex-showroom in North-East (for some reason the motorcycle was introduced in the North-Eastern market first), quite clearly price was its main USP. However, within a span of about 9-10 months (from the first officially updated prices), Hero has raised the price of the motorcycle by upto Rs 3900 which is 4.4 percent of the actual price of the motorcycle. Here are the latest prices..
Xtreme 200R Latest Price
Original Price in North East | Price after First Hike | Price in April 2019 | Latest Price (July 2019) |

The latest price hike of Rs 1000 has been made this month and there appear to be no changes to the specs of the motorcycle.
Xtreme 200R was originally launched in a single variant with standard single-channel ABS and a near 200cc engine which is a re-bored version of Honda Unicorn’s 150cc engine. It produces 18.4 PS of peak power at 8000 rpm and 17.1 Nm of max torque at 6500 rpm.
‘Karizma is NOT Discontinued’, Says Hero
Despite its striking price tag and Hero’s massive reach, Xtreme 200R’s sales are disappointing (more details). However, with the latest inclusion of three more 200s in the range, Hero does have a better portfolio to show off. They have already started well with them…
