India’s largest player in the two-wheeler EV segment – Hero Electric has announced the launch of its latest scooter – City Speed NYX-HX. The electric scooter is a part of its HX series line-up that is widely used by B2B customers.
The company is targeting B2B customers, who use scooters as a part of their delivery fleet, self-riding fleet, last-mile deliveries and other commercial uses. It offers an impressive range of whopping 210 km per charge, and also features regenerative braking system.
Hero Electric claims that the scooter has been developed after years of research and field trials. The company shares that the scooter is rugged, reliable, and long lasting, something which the businesses will value.
The NYX-HX comes with a powertrain that has ‘high-torque’ and supports battery swapping system. However, the company has not shared the exact specifications of the scooter, yet.
In terms of features, it can be fitted with a variety of load carrying solutions that can be installed on the rear seat. The split seat doubles up as a backrest when it is folded. It also offers smart-connectivity system with a Bluetooth interface and ‘high-end’ remote surveillance system.
