Greta Electric Scooters, electric mobility subsidiary of Raj Electromotives, have launched their new offering – ‘Glide’ electric scooter in the Indian market.
Greta Electric Scooters is a Gujarat based EV start-up founded in 2019 by Mr. Raj Mehta. Greta electric scooters is the founder’s second initiative to further his mission to make solutions that respect the environment. The company started with providing conversion kits to convert pedal-operated bicycles, pedal rickshaws (Passenger & commercial), tricycles for the specially-abled & bikes (India’s first-ever Retro-Fitment kit) to electric.
The company describe their electric scooter Glide to “flaunt a classy design that promises to lend a cool and stylish factor to its rider”.

Greta Glide Highlights and Features
- Greta Glide is offered in seven colours – Yellow, Grey, ORange, Scarlet Red, Rose Gold, Candy White and Jet Black.
- The Glide is powered by a Li-ion battery capable of fast-charging under 2.5 hours and claims a range of 100 km.
- The battery gets a 3-year warranty as standard from the company.
- The electric scooter gets 3-speed Drive Mode along with Reverse Drive.
- The suspension setup is made up of conventional telescopic forks at the front and dual-hydraulic cell shocks at the rear.
- The braking system consists of hydraulic disk brakes both at front and rear wheels and rides on 3.5” tubeless tyres.
