Slowly and gradually, Kinetic is increasing the reach of its motorcycles to a wider biking audience. Late last year they debuted the Italian FB Mondial motorcycle brand in India with the launch of the HPS 300.
And now, according to a post by Ajinkya Firodia, Managing Director of Motoroyale, the motorcycle is available in Bangalore. The ‘Hispter’ is sold through the multi-brand motorcycle chain of Kinetic, which now has five dealerships in India – in Thane, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi and the latest one in Bangalore.
According to the last known update, HPS 300 had received 100 bookings till December 2018 and deliveries were to commence around that time (more details). The quarter liter HPS is the most affordable motorcycle in the range but at 3.37 Lakh ex-showroom, it is even costlier than the BMW G310 R which is the new benchmark in ‘senseless pricing’ in India.
The quarter liter CKD motorcycle is powered by a 249cc DOHC 4-valve single cylinder engine and produces 22.5 bhp of peak power at 9000 rpm and 22 Nm of maximum torque at 7000 rpm. Though the power/spec to price ratio is not favourable but it scores on its quirky looks which definitely will turn heads.
