Emflux One Launch Delay: Reason
According to the company, all the components of its ONE, including Mechanical, Electrical and Design are manufactured at the Bengaluru facility which is causing the delay in the final product. Lack of investments is also an add-on which is slowing down ONE’s development. The company is so far able to raise 4.65 crore from different entrepreneurs which is still not sufficient for a start-up to build a superbike from the scratch.
Emflux Motors also stated that they have made some changes to the bike for better performance. The motor is optimised, the aesthetic design is improved in terms of ‘surface flow’ and ‘maturity’, the electronic circuit is being tested rigorously, etc. After the positive response for EVs in the Union Budget of India, company could also stick a more competitive price tag which will definitely widen its appeal in the Indian market.
Emflux One is powered by a Liquid cooled AC induction motor which can produce 84 Nm of torque at 8400 rpm. According to claims by the company, it can do 0-100 kmph sprint in 3.0 seconds flat along with a top speed of 200 kph. The motor also has a fairly good range of 200 kms.
There is no official announcement about its launch date yet but we expect it to be ready by the next year (2020). Patience yields sweet fruit, so, a better version of Emflux ONE can be expected. Meanwhile, the company has teased two new streetfighter motorcycles details of which you can read here.
